Okay, I've heard of optical illusions ... but audio illusions?
Listen to this short track over and over again... it will sound like it KEEPS GOING UP!
What's that got to do with photography? Nuttin'. I just thought it was cool!

eh, your brain just starts paying more attention to the higher pitched tones that were already there in the first place.
If you focus on the low tones intentionally you can hear that it's the same every time. Pretty simple, start out with the high range already mixed, provide two octaves in unison, and make sure that the last tone on the first octave is one note below the first tone on the second octave, broadcast the illusion so that your already pre-disposed to hear it going up the second time around.

| And these two guys appear on TV every day with a version of their exercise in different situations, but they always wear the same suits I think. |
