You might want to run it through a spell checker before posting it anywhere!

Are you looking for feedback on the cover letter? - Because it's not very convincing. :)

edit: Plus, you're showing him your photobucket album which contains snapshots of pets etc. mixed in with the other stuff.

Something like this (keep it short and to the point, most recruiters won't read past the first sentence)

My name is Jacob Vetter from Manitowoc in Wisconsin and I have been a photographer since 2004. Having successfully completed the Photography 1 and 2 courses at Lincoln High School in Manitowoc I have continued to improve my photography technique and now have an in-depth understanding of editing software, including Photoshop and RAW Shooter Essentials.

I specialise in nature photography and recently have experimented with HDR editing, which is a post-processing method intended to increase the dynamic range of an image.

I feel I have the potential to be a great addition to your team, and would be delighted if you'd take the time to view my portfolio.

edit to say this isn't a personal attack, but im gonna get straight to the point so it might seem bullish.

damn right,

jhonan hit the nail on the head when he said it was a little unprofessional. they will read your letter for less than 30 seconds so you have to put enough in there to move it from the 'no' pile to the 'yes' pile.

Firstly, do not waffle on about irrelevant crap as it is immaterial to the facts.

instead of this: I often take a cupple days ever month and set them aside to study and get photos of animals in the local area, the turkey i studied for a week before going out to take there picture, i was in there nesting area at 8 am in the morning, an hour before they got there, they were litteraly standing 5 feet in front of me when i took the photos, i was in full camo, also have a story of when i stalked the great blue heron avalible here to read if you like

you could have something like: I devote personal time to my art and have always gone the extra mile to attain my goals. I will do whatever is necessary to realise the potential in a scene.

or something very similar. Its to the point, its formal, businesslike. If they ask you what you meant then relay the story you mentioned but details are not important at this stage.

Also:

I dont know if i am what you are looking for, i dont have a degree in photography, i just have alot of time on my hands and some expierence worth your while. thank you for reading and looking at my photos.

No no... this plants the idea in their heads that you are not what they are looking for. Scrap it and use something more upbeat, like "although not classically trained I have devoted time and passion to my craft and believe my portoflio is of such a high-calibre that I could be a great asset to your organisation". See? little things man, sell yourself and miss out the details and anything negative.

And another thing, saying you are fluent with software does nto make sense, you can be skilled, adept, specialised, proficient, learned, comfortable or anything similar but fluent just doesnt wash.

further points: i just have alot of time on my hands and some expierence worth your while.

Not good. don't say byou have a lot of free time available- this makes you sound like a bum. Say you are ready and eager to devote the time to your creative passion or something along those lines that makes you sound energetic and pro-active. NEVER be self-dismissive because this carries over quicker than anything else and shit sticks frankly. Mention everything great and nothing bad and you'll be fine.

trust me, I work in recruitment :)

I agree with everything else you've written, but in modern geekspeek, it is perfectly acceptable to employers to describe oneself as "fluent" in various aspects of soft tech, like software, programming languages, XHTML, etc. Sad but true.

One more thing about the cover letter. Even though it's email, you want it to be a business letter. Correct capitalization, spelling, and punctuation are absolutely vital.
