Maybe a thread about handy tricks to use while visiting the forums wil be helpful, especially for noob's. Here's a tip to start things off.
I have noticed that it always took me a minute to locate my previous posts in longer threads.
Tonight I noticed that the column on the right side has an "edit" button with your own posts, so it sticks right out when you look at a page and follow that column down.
It is quicker and much easier than looking thru the user names on the left column. It's very useful to me because I can never seem to remember exactly what I posted last in a thread.

Here are more tips:
1. I can never find the thread I commented on. Highlight "My Home" and click on "My Profile" and scroll down to "Last 10 Threads Posted" and you'll find all the stuff you've posted to.
2. On each thread listing any where, there's a ">" icon. Click on it and it'll bring you to the last comment you read. Or maybe it's the last thread posted since you read.
3. As for finding my post, I just hit Ctrl-f and type my user name to search for it. That's always easier. |
