Perhaps a poll would gage how the greater membership views the suggestion. |

You can discuss it till you are blue in the face (or would that be fingers), but at this point in time, for this website, and for the immediate future, it is not a feature that will be implemented. |
Fair enough. At least now I know the status of the feature. For now, until I can provide further proof that it is needed, will drop the issue.
A poll would IMO helped to quiet questions I have, but won't force the issue. I'll just simply keep my images on sites that I do have the wanted control.

Wow! Kudos to SC for acting on this in a manner that lets everyone know the final outcome, rather than having it get batted around for a few more days without closure.
Thanks! |

Bravo to the SC for looking at this and rendering a decision... I may not agree with it, but I applaud your efforts in analyzing the situation and arriving at a reasoned conlusion.
... and with that, to paraphrase Jimmy Durante: ""Good night, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are."

Maybe just a bit. Not that you can quote it, but that you can name the source.

Bump because the report comment button is apparently broken.

i believe that's what the menu item 'Help | Contact Us' is for...Originally posted by DPChallenge - Administrative Inquiry:
Select this option to send your letter to the DPChallenge administrators. This is where you should direct payment questions, advertising inquiries, site error reports, and the like. |
i find that gets quicker responses than bumping way-old threads. |

Annnnnnnnnnd, I believe in your first post way back when, you said it was only for port images, not challenge entries. I guess that's changed?
Read this thread to know why the issue was brought up again. |

If it's the latter, who cares if it is deleted. You'll know next time, who doesn't want your help.
Personally, I wouldn't know if someone deleted a comment I left. |
Actually, no you won't since you don't know who's image it is until after voting is over.
Now, if this were done in conjunction with a user having the preference to indicate whether they want comments or not then I would know who not to waste my time with. |

maybe SC can make a rule about whats accetable for a comment.Model mayhem has rules in place for accetable behavior. If the user goes over the rules they will be issued a warning, 3 warnings and your out. It would be up to SC to decide if the comment was tuly offensive.
Just my opinion. |

That's got NIGHTMARE written all over it! An entire ruleset would probably be needed for guidelines, and then interpretation would be subjective.
Wait, that sounds like the DQ process. Yikes!!! Run! Run, very fast... :-D |
