how many actions do you have in photshop?
With help from  idnic I have discovered the joys of actions ;) I have gone mad and have now downloaded 20 from here! Some are quite simple to use and some seem like they will require a bit of time and patience from me!
How many do you have?
Which ones do you use all the time?
Which ones have you never used?
Any other similar sites out there? |

10 maybe.
But I have more than 50 third party filters and a lot of brushes....

I'm not sure how many really... over 20 free ones, where you mentioned (midnight sepia & urban acid are my personal faves...)
and way over 50 of kubota...kubota rocks!!! :0)
faves of kubota's are lord of the rings and chocolate syrup! :0)
I've also heard the itty bitty actions are awesome but I'm not even sure I spelled it right! :0P

Probably a hundred... and I use maybe 2 or 3. Some day I oughta delete everything I'm not using so I can get to the ones I use quicker. But I'm a packrat. I have a hard time deleting anything.

Okay. I'm getting frustrated.
I have downloaded only two actions over two years ago.
I just downloaded one and can't for the life of me get it into the actions pallete. Duh. Help, please? |

I just posted this somewhere yesterday..... Okay, first drop the action into the Plugins folder inside ProgramFiles/Adobe/Photoshop/
Then in PS, look for the TINY arrow beside the word actions in the actions tool bar, click that and you'll get a dropdown, choose Load Action, browse to your action & click okay. That's it. :)

| Thanks. That's what I've been trying to do. I downloaded a trial cs3 sometime ago and then uninstalled/deleted it. I think I've got some "stuff" still lingering and am having trouble finding cs directory. I'll go at it again. Sorry for the duplicate request. I tried "search", really I did. :) |

It has been a long time but I believe I just picked the action up from it's windows map and dumped it in the actions palette in PS..... Don't know if that still works.
