I got my first really decent client order today! I've done several (for me) shoots over the past month or so and my last shoot I just got an order for $450 worth of prints. I figure my profit to be about $375 on that. That's including buying some basic photo folders for the order. It's from This shoot.
On my two other shoots, I've made about $200 profit. I finally found a local lab that I really like, but they are not the cheapest. They do, however, do a much better job on b/w prints. Also, with doing client work, it's important to me to give them quality prints.
In any case...I was just very happy to know that someone likes my stuff enough to really invest some serious cash. It's going in the "40D" fund!
