| Does that mean it's JUST the body and I need to order the battery seperately? |

If you are talking about buying new from a retailer, it should nean you get everything except the lens.
So you should get battery, strap, instruction manual, software etc.
If you are buying something secondhand, I would check with the seller. |

No lens usually.
Look closly at the ad to make sure its not one of those deals where you get a great price on the body, but pay through the nose with everything else you will need to make that body operate.

I'm not buying for a few weeks yet- just getting my ducks in a row.
Amazon has the D80 body for the same price as BHphoto. THe dealer on Amazon is Cameta. Shipping is 10 dollars cheaper then it is through BH.
I knew it didn't come with a lens, was wondering about the battery. |

That's true for the reputable stores, like B&H. Some of the bait-and-switch stores sell everything separately. check with //www.resellerratings.com before you buy. |
