Yes, I did read his advice on not resizing the text. I was looking for more advice on the text portion. I am just looking for others Ideas on how to improve it as well.

I also am trying to figure out if I should add text before resizing for the challenges or after.

This was the entry:

This is a new one (different because I am at work):

Is the new one better for the text????

Thanks
Rich

I disagree on the resizing of text... Many times text created and "effected" in the larger size looks better smaller than anything you could create at smaller font sizes. Most promos and ads I've seen are done graphically at large sizes then sized down.

The big thing is to keep the ratio the same and use the right sampling method.

Another thing about these posters is that the text should be kept at a minimum. They aren't really all that wordy. Mine was 3000 x 2400 in editing mode. The final submission was 640x512... text was fine.

Wasn't really sure where to post this & didn't want to start a new thread...
I use photoshop 7.0 & not all the fonts we have installed on the computer show up, anybody know why or how to make them show up? We do have a large amount of fonts, upwards of 3,000+ (we use them for the graphics business) would the large amt be the problem?
Thanks in advance for any help :)
