I ordered my 300d today thinkin I would have the whole day to play with it after saving the money up for a long time. Nope. They're on backorder and I'm now on a waiting list. Hopefully it comes in next week. I'm so extremely excited and disappointed at the same time... Hah
PS Sorry to waste bandwidth. I just needed to share my angst with people. :)

they were out when i went to buy mine, i convinced the salesman to sell me the store demo model, still with full warranty. i didn't want to wait... either - plus the battery was charged ;}
it'll be all that more exciting when you finally do get it...
on the other hand, my mom ordered a G5, waited a week for it, took about two dozen shots, and her computer stopped working properly, so for another week, and today still, she cant view or download any photos...

| The same thing happened to me. It was the first time I ever ordered anything off the internet with my credit card, to say the least I was very nervous about it. Then when the day came and my new camera was supposed to arrive...no camera...very disappointing. Soup your mom's luck sounds like mine, new camera, then her computer tears up, that is so sad. Hopefully she will get a new one. |

Don't say that, LOL. I ordered it from the local professional camera shop. They were really helpful with all my stupid questions. Hahaha |
