It's a PhotoShop action. I actually use it quite a bit in very slight doses since it's a bit much at full strength. But the action is not legal in basic editing.

The download page. Scroll down to find it, then look at the rollover example it links to.

Hmm, seems someone has a real problem and we all have to submit proof now. Have nothing to fear, though.

You know it's bad when your 1 comment lists soft focus as a "but" on your soft focus entry...

Last night before I went to bed my score was about 6.7 everything going as normal. This morning I check it and it says my image is disqualified!!!! There was never a validation request on my homepage or email... what is up?

Did you list your steps in your photographer's notes? If there's something listed there that is obviously not allowed, then SC wouldn't need a proof file.

I started with a 6.5 after a the first few votes. Happily went to bed and woke up the next morning to a 4.9ish. Now I seem to have settled into my usual range. What a roller coaster!

Regardless of whether your steps are listed or not, you will still get a validation request. I would suggest the author contact the SC about this one.

You need to upload your original to the site. Or you will be DQ'ed.

Thaks for the reply. Is it the original photoshop file or the RAW image from the camera?

You may use only Adjustment Layers (or their equivalent). An Adjustment Layer is a special type of layer containing no image data that lets you experiment with color and tonal adjustments without permanently modifying the pixels. Adjustment Layers must be applied in Normal mode.

IN JPEG FORMAT I MADE MINOR COLOR TONE ADJUSTMENT AND CROPPED,IN LIGHTROOM 1.2 THIS IS THE SAME AS COLOR BALANCE IN PS2.
THE ONLY STEP THAT I SEE IS THAT I DUPLICTED THE BACKGROUND LAYER (adjustment layer or their equivelent) TO ADD GAUSSIAN BLUR AND REDUCED THE FILL OPACITY IN NORMAL MODE.
WHAT GIVES, AS TONE MAPPING CHANGES THE PIXELATION BIG TIME BUT IT IS PERMITTED AND THIS IS NOT DONE IN ADJUSTMENT LAYERS.
