Wow – I just picked up my glasses and I am amazed at how bad my vision is without them. I cannot believe I have been editing pictures with my eyes that way. Ok, lookout everyone I may be able to take a good photograph now and have a chance at a ribbonâ€Â¦I hope.

| Ha, that's funny, in a getting-older-sad kinda way. My life changed too, once I had my 40+ glasses. Let's see what your new-fangled vision will produce now! :o) |

I know...I have astigmatism in both eyes. So my vision without glasses look close to this. This is the best illustration I could do comparing glasses on / off.

So I guess if anyone ever gets a comment saying "What were you thinking?...are you blind?!", then they may be serious! LOL!
Congrats on the new spectacles...I look forward to seeing your entries!

Hahahaha...that reminds me of a few weeks ago. I normally only wear glasses for computer work. And this particular day I was busy setting up the exhibition in the Art Gallery...and I was raiding the Mayors office for some memorabilia of the area. He was trying to explain to me about a particular photo and the writing in it.
I squinted and looked and eventually just said to him that without my glasses I can't see a thing.
The cheeky s**t took his glasses off and threw them to me and said wear them you blind bitch! LMAO It took a while for my eyes to adjust but suddenly...I could see what he was trying to point out.
Mind you...it would have helped if the photo was larger and not from the 50's!!
So there you go...no matter who you are...sometimes glasses can make all the difference...even to this blind bitch!
On a side note...I did get him back later!!!! But that's a different story.
