Second Wind Fund 5K - C&C anyone?

The only editing on these is exposure and color corrections with the occasional curve or warming filter if the color was flat or the lighting too dull. I shot this event as a favor to the organizers, and I had more fun with this than I have in the past with other large events. Having the D80 made a world of difference, and I can see myself actually enjoying this sort of shooting in the future. There was a photog from the Denver Post shooting, too. We were comparing equipment since we both had Nikons, and, other than the 18-200 zoom that he had, my equipment was just as good as his. Which, of course, has the gears turning in my crazy brain. I wasn't shooting with a newspaper in mind, more like PR literature, but some are decent enough, I think. I'd love some feedback.

They look nice, very nice. Nothing really stood out to me but some very nice PR shots like you said. Did you get any of the actual run/walk itself?

Yeah, a few. The full set is here. The actual race is toward the end. The foundation is getting more than what is posted, too, these were just my favorites.

Well, the foundation is beyond thrilled, even told me that the other guy's shots weren't anywhere near as good as mine and then proceeded to pass the link around to all their volunteers with their tally and thank you email today. Yay!
