So I guess I wrote this in the wrong place (rants) and was informed that since I was not willing to call the administrators lower on the food chain than a slug I should probably post it here.
Minor complaint here, I am voting the Deja Vu III challenge, and trying to compare submitted photoâs to the originals. I have 2 options for looking up the original artists submissions, by artist or by title which ever is included in the title of the emulators submission. Searching by artist is easy. When searching by Title, Photos-search (top of page )I find the search engine failing . Example; I tried to vote on a image copied from the photo named â8 Yearsâ I have seen this photo before and I believe the title is correct. Yet looking up the title Photos- Search, all search terms, challenge entries, the search engine grabs the word âyearsâ and few of the results have anything to do with â8â or âEightâ I tried both.
Am I barking up the wrong tree, or could this search be improved on.

This continued and regularly this search came up with unusual responses making it extremely difficult to vote this challenge.
I guess to attract the attention, I guess I need to throw out a insult or two. So here It goes.
The site administrators probably, ummm maybe, could have worn, slightly dirty tennis shoes.
The SC takes drugs, well uhhhhhh like cold medicine, Ok-Ok uhhhmmm aspirin, aspirin is a drug right, unless they don't, then-then they have funny icons, uuuuhhhh unless they really like them. So There!!!

Lol, I love it. Hmmm, maybe we need to institute random drug testing for the SC? ;)

But I agree that the search is less than accurate, and often very frustrating. Since I know nuffink about the geekier bits, I have no suggestions :(

It is frustrating. But I managed to find each image through the title search (try refining your search) and through the Author. There were two that stumped me....but with a more thorough search...I got there. There were a couple that would have made it difficult for some due to the change in name and the age of the original image...but it is doable!

FWIW, it's "18 years," not "8 years," which probably has a lot to do with why you couldn't find it.

I agree "doable" but in this day and age is it acceptable..

I agree with you to a point, but, I pressed all search results and the first page should have presented photos with the number 8+ the word years as first examples. and not random photos named years that might or might not have a 8 in it.
