Saw an ad in today's San Francisco Chronicle for "Calumet's Photography Center"(Page A10) in which they will pay all sales tax on all Canon products on Friday, January 30. Reps will be on-site.
Address is San Francisco, CA 2001 Bryant St. (at 18th Street)

I don't work or know anything about this store, but if they're paying sales tax, you can definitely save some money if you plan to buy a Rebel or 10-D (which they have pictured in the ad), or lenses :)

Looks like the deal only goes for 1 day. Tomorrow, Friday, January 30.

Darn why dont they do that over here on the east side of the states! That would save about $25 to $50 here in the south for sales tax, there probably higher if you are planning to buy the rebel, ooooooohhhh I cant get my piggy bank filled fast enough!

Interesting thing is that would save you about $85.00 in taxes if you were to buy a Rebel here in S.F. Drive about 5 minutes out of the city and save $80.00.
