OOOOPS Silly me thought the man was going to be joining the Fuji Club.. oh well looks like we remain a gang of 6 for now then. |

Oh you will NOT be sorry, get the grip (MB200) and a spare Fuji battery too you will need it if you plan on shooting all day. The S5 Pro only works with FUJI batteries not nikon or any 3rd party ones either. get yourself a nice walk around lens for it (Tamron 28-75 f2.8) and you will be in heaven. I LOVE mine, even sold my D200 and kept the S5, I put the D200 grip on it and it is brilliant. You will have a lot of fun, look forward to seeing your work and finally...

talking about the canon s5 actually lol, i think teh fuji ones are slightly more expensive :/
also, at the risk of sounding even thicker, whats a grip? |

It is, haha. If you click on the user profiles, they all have some other camera listed. :) A grip is an attachment that fits to the bottom of the camera. Generally allows the body to hold two batteries and adds a vertical shutter button. It also tends to make the camera bigger, heavier, and more stable.
