Today has been a very good and rewarding Day for myself, and the People in my commuity who have Physical Disabilities and other Personal Difficulties.
Over the Last 18 Months i have been on a Bit of a Mission to Purchase a Power Boat for the Place I work to Allow accesability onto the River Tyne in North East England, for People with Disabilities.
I managed to raise £26000.00p English Money.
The Boat has specialist equiped seating and Flat Bed reas for People to Sit or Lay Down.
I am just so excited that its here and I tok it on its First Voyage today, I thought I would share this with you.
By the Way I work closely with disadvantaged People as part of my work
in a Leisure Cenre.

The Boat is 6.2 Metres Long and has a 90hp Suzuki Engine
Wow

Cheers.
Joe

I have been out in the Boat again Today putting it through its paces and getting use to it.
It really is everything and more than I expected from it.
The Company who gave me the money for his Boat sid they did not want any publicity from its purchase.
They said they did not buy it for recognition,as they think it is morally wrong to buy something to impress the media.
They said that this was an outstanding project and it was something they thought would provide disadvantaged people an excellet opportunity to access the River.

( well said that person )

Cheers.

Sweet boat! Great story, thanks for sharing! Nice to know there are people out there willing to do the right thing and not wanting to profit off it.
