I have attempted to try a HDR image. Done a lot of research before trying. Let me know what you think. I know this is a basic image, but i was just going for the effect.

A quick glance and I'm very impressed. You have used HDR the way I usually like to see it applied. It has not been overdone in the way that so many HDR images on DPC have been. Not that they are "bad", but I really like successful post processing that enhances a photo to a point just short of it looking like it was manipulated.

Very nice, especially for your first.

My thoughts exactly.. I know I couldn't do any better.

One thing I did see was with the stairs.. It looks like they are melting. I wonder how that occured.

Apparently, HDR can even add a letter to the word "parish". :-P

Glad you didn't "go bright" on your first attempt.
Good lights and darks, good definition all the way through.
Very nice.

Ok, I can't spell so I fixed that and I closed the door to the underworld that was supposed to be a secret!
