I don't watch football but I am so pumped I could do the football touchdown dance right now!!!

Out of curiosity, how many out there have had an idea going for 3-6-11 months and have been either:

a) trying, and trying again & again to get the lighting JUST right.
b) getting all the materials needed gathered.
c) waiting for the right challenge to come along.
d) all of the above

11 months since I first had the idea blossom in my head and I have finally NAILED it! THANK YOU and a big ol' hug & thrown kiss is coming one DPCer's way for providing a tutorial that was instrumental in getting the final product looking the way it did after last night's photo shoot:-) :-) :-) :-) Tutorials Rule!!!!

Would love too - only it will have to wait till rollover:-( because of option (c) in my checked box of (d) all of the above.

I did take shots of the set-up before breaking it down and do plan to impart how I did it along with a nod to that certain DPCer's tutorial that helped:-)

Tutorials really, really can help you improve - just take a look at some of the great ones here at DPC:-)

Again just wondering how many take the try & try again approach with an idea that did not work the first time. I do know that DrAchoo took that approach with one of his works Evolution of-. But I was curious if there were any others: examples?

Here is one of mine - - - edit to add--->See my "Photographer's comments" for my story that applies to this thread.

I knew what I wanted and on about the third day I finally solved all of the problems that kept me from creating the image exactly as I had envisioned it.
