I had the chance to tag along with my brother(white shirt) and his friend on there rock climbing trip. Probably some of the hardest shots I've tried. I came home with 12 new bruises on my legs from hanging to get different angles. It was a blast though. Well worth it. Here are some pictures from the trip. These are taken at the Gorge here in Kentucky.

Saweeet shots, Phillup and scary looking! You guys rock! lol

My daughter tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and today called to beg me to come climb with her. I told her I was afraid of death!!! But the more I think about it...I haven't done it....... might just have to. :)

there is no better way to get over a fear of heights than climbing. As a beginner, you would be top roping so when you fall, you really just peel off the rock, you don't drop. When your leg starts shaking when you try to make a move, its normal, funny as hell for the person watching.

The challenge is...after a day of climbing, I challenge you to open a can of soda with one hand. I have definately had to use my teeth to crack a beer after a day of climbing, forearms and fingers get too pumped and become useless.

Sweet photos, I usually take bouldering photos, its much easier. Climbing shots can be tough on gear, the slightest bump into rocks can be damaging.

If you're going to be doing a lot of shooting in rough places and/or inclement weather, these products are GREAT:
