I made the move from PSP XI to X2 which came out at the first of this month.
Along with a lot of the functions being quicker serveral features have been added. Notably the HDR Merge function.
Quick pass of a severly under exposed in the shadows area shot, 7 exposures from one RAW image HDR merged in PSP X2:

Granted I don't know what I am doing with HDR but it seems to rescue detail in the very dark areas.
Other Cool things is a new "Layer Type" for Vector Grapics that allows inside/outside effects to your vector layer.
I haven't used the added Express Lab yet but looks pretty cool for mass editing (not bulk editing).
Thus far I have found the performace to be better than XI and haven't had any issues.
BTW: I have a 40% off coupon code for "User Groups" for the month of Sept. This is a User Group isn't it?

Awpollard - Where to you get the 40% off code? That sounds like a sweet deal. I have the trial and like it alot - at 40% off I think I'll buy it. Thanks, Tom |

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the post. I've been waiting for X2. I'm currently on V9, but I've been looking at upgrading for a little while now, but figured I'd wait for X2. The HDR looks pretty nice.
I don't suppose the 40% off works for international customers, but I have the upgrade deal anyway, so no problem. :)
