on the canon 10d and cameras from the same era, there is a function you can disable with the CF14. apparently there is some sort of fill flash exposure reduction canon built into the camera that might override some of your exposure settings.

well i disabled it. i'd just assume make my own mistakes, and be able to adjust from there. rather than some random exposure adjustment the camera thinks is what i want.
