Challenge: Riddle
Details: Solve the riddle to find out the challenge topic!
Challenge Type: Members Challenge
Challenge Rules: Advanced Editing
 Extra Details: The Riddle: This is where the riddle would be placed by SC or Admin. The solution to the riddle will be revealed when the challenge enters the voting stage.
I think it would be fun adding an extra element to the challenge. You must solve the riddle to know the challenge topic.

WHOA!!! I can just imagine the fighting over that one. The DNMC police would be out in full force with battons waving.

I think that would just get confusing... then the subject isn't really a riddle, it'd be something else that requires a riddle to be found out, so the subject could be trees, a candid or whatever. Seems kinda silly. I don't think it will work, or that people will bother with it over the other challenges.
If the challenge was to try and depict a riddle- the photo was the answer and the title was the riddle or something similar then that could be fun, but to solve a riddle just to participate in another challenge seems a little strange to me.

'twould be an interesting week, that's fer sure. My guess is the riddle would be revealed all over the forums within ten minutes after it was announced, thereby sucking the fun part out. ...unless it were an impossible riddle - like "I am an examination of which there is no charge to your account. Take a picture when you figure that out." :)

add this clause into the "special rules" section:
any member who announced the answer to the riddle (speculation or otherwise) will be banned infinitely from the site

What about this?
Challenge: Riddle
Details: Ask a riddle w/ your title. Solve the riddle w/ your photograph!
Or the challenge could be a specific (and maybe classic or punny) riddle? For example: "What's black and white and red all over?" would net pictures of newspapers, embarrased zebras, penguins w/ diaper rash, Communist pandas, etc.
