i have raw shooter premium, and was allowed to download the lightroom program when it came out - for free. i had received an email on how to get the software, but that computer died, and i lost both the installtion exe file, and the email that pointed me to the download link.
somehow i managed to get everything else backed up, but i think the adobe download went to my documents on the windows partition, where i usually save stuff like that on a seperate partition...
i'm wondering if anyone can get me that link, and if i am even still able to download it...
i think i am out of luck, but with a faster machine also thought it might be worth trying it again. i didn't use it on the old machine because it bogged it down too much,
thanks.

You should be able to contact Adobe and sort it out. I believe that in order to download it the first time you had to register on the Adobe site, correct? If so, then they can look at your account and see that you do in fact have a legal license for it.

Regardless, you can download the 30-day trial version and give it a try. That'll give you 30 days to have fun with it while you get things straightened out with Adobe.
Here's the link: Lightroom 30-Day Trial

well i found the original install. beyond me why i didn't write the damn SN on the CD... or print the email out for that matter. both things i am usually pretty good about. sometimes digital is more a pain than a blessing...
i'll look into contacting adobe. i do have an account with them for the lightroom DL, and the cs3 DL.
