Nice shots, I like the colored lights.

Look nice. People are constantly asking how to shoot these scenes, you should post some details about gear and settings so some future person can use it as refrence.

ok..

This shoot was more difficult that I thought it would be. Lights were changing too quickly and camera's meter was no use at ALL. I took few test shot on P mode. Most overexposed and worst of all inconsistent. A mode produced similar results. So the M mode is your friend here.

I had 3 lenses and I used following settings.
WB on sunny
50 1.4 @ f1.4 ISO 400
24-85 f2.8-4 @ f2.8 ISO 800
12-24 f4 @ f4 ISO 800

Once I set those settings all I was doing is adjusting shutter speed between 1/60 - 1/500 depending on lights. The quicker you can shoot adjust and reshoot before light changes the better.

That's pretty much it. Hope it helps.

I was wondering how it was done, too. Very nice looking shots considering the lighting of the scene. The band should be happy with them.
