I have a photosite account but it is closing this month. I'm to the point where I need something professional looking that isn't going to cost me a ton. Any good ones? I need to get it set up asap because I have a lot of emails and calls coming in for school and senior pictures.
Thanks! |

I'm very happy with my Zenfolio.
If you like it, use my referral code (it is in my profile) to save both of us $5.00. |

Smugmug. Unlimited uploads so you can use it as off-site back-up storage. Reference Penrodc@comcast.net and save a buck or two. ;)

Thanks!
Going to go check both of them out. I decided I'd offer homeschool pictures this year for a discounted price. Well my photosite portfolio I haven't kept up with and it's not worth doing anything with it now since it's going to close.
And I'm buying new eqpt in a month or two so I need to get things moving now! |

Idnic- is the link you have posted on your profile a smugmug account? I love the setup and it looks beautiful. I want to be able to do something like that. |

Yeah, mine is a smugmug site. I've been working on it for a while with some help from a few friends. I still have some more organizing and tweeking to do..... there's always something. :)

I looked a Zenfolio a while back and really liked it, except for the fact that there was no way to create a pricing structure to sell prints to clients, or even a way to keep client shots seperate and password-protected from the general mainstream. When I asked about it, I was told that an upgrade was in progress. Anyone here know if that's happened yet?
I'm currently on myphotographer.com, and I can't say anything really nice about them. They are super helpful when there is a problem, but otherwise everything about them is difficult. The set-up pages aren't easy to work with, ordering prints through them is a pain, etc. As soon as I can find something I like better, I'm bailing.

Well it looks great! One more question, what level are you paying for? Just curious because my aim is to have a nice looking portfolio like that eventually. Are you paying for the professional or the one below that? I'm curious what you get with the one below professional.
Thanks for the help! I've now set up a portfolio at smugmug and I really like it. Very user friendly and I like that I can password protect certain albums. That's a HUGE bonus.
