i recently came upon a dilema, i have been looking for a new body for a while and now am totaly stumped. the finalist are (40d, 30d), 1d, or possibly save up a couple more weeks worth and get the mark II. but thats a lil stretching it. anyways, would u go with new tech vs old pro body, and 4 mp vs 10.1. for a lil more i could get the 40d but dont know really wat to do. and if the 1d is rulled out, would the extra 600 and 2 months working be worth the wait? im guessing its an easy yes, but give me your side. thanxs

There's been about a zillion opinion threads on this already, but I notice you don't list 5D as one of your options. Work more, buy that 5D!

the thing is, i like to shoot sports and going from 3 fps to 3 again even though it may be fullframe, doesnt make much of n improvment as far as sportsminded folks see it.
