How about a challenge for anyone that has previously NOT won a ribbon?

But then if you win you can't say you beat the best.

I was thinking more of a "Ribbonless" for anyone who has never reached ribbon territory.

True...but then some pretty amazing photographers would get recognition that they so richly deserve.

(Not thinking me ya know...I am at best...average)

It's been suggested a zillion times, and it never happens because it cheapens the perceived value of those ribbons. I personally have no desire to play junior varsity.
