At The Camera Store (Calgary) 30Ds are on sale for 1049 CDN. Plus, Canon Canada has a mail in rebate of $150 that expires on Sept 3.

That's impressive, for about 900 $, one can get a very good camera. I wonder how much Canon is making per camera sold? I tend to believe more and more that Canon wants to sell in quantity at a lower price.
That is a bad news for the other manufacturers, because Canon and Nikon are killing the market place...I am not sure if it would be safe to go for Pentax, Olympus, Fuji or Sony nowadays. |
