Hi guys,

The whole thing started when I spotted a small dot on my pictures. Ok, I said, dust on sensor.
I have a small manual pump (from giotto, looks like a rocket), blew 1-2 times on the sensor, dust went away.
Then I observed a small dot on the viewfinder. Hm, dust on mirror, i say. Blew again, didn't go away. Then I used a small brush (from lenses cleaning set), managed to get away that small dot of dust. Very proud, i take a look on the viewfinder only to find in horror a whole colony of dust, hair-like stuff and so on.
These are not on the 45% mirror you look directly at, but on the one in the top of the chamber(leading to viewfinder) with the AF dots on it.
Hmm, you are a moron, i said.
I tried using cotton-sticks to clear the stuff, used again the blower thing, tried also using a micro-fiber cloth...
Well, I managed to get the big stuff away, but I still have a lot of dust and a small smear (i think it's body-fat -- probably from the microfiber cloth).

What can i do now ? Can it be fixed ? Did i broke the AF sensors ?

The small spec on the 45% mirror is now gone though...

I did something similar myself (actually pretty much the exact same thing). I took mine to The Camera Store and they said even they don't touch the mirror. You can send your camera away to get it cleaned. Cost is a bit high ($80 I think?) and you are without your camera until it comes back. If its terrible send it. If you can live with it? Live with it. The smear on mine eventually disappeared over time. (Or I just don't notice it anymore maybe?)
