In basic editing challenges the rules state:
You may saturate, desaturate or change the colors of your entry, but no selections are allowed.
Does selections in this case mean I can't use the drop down "Edit:" box in Hue/Saturation to select Red instead of Master?
or
Does it just mean you can't select an area of the image using a tool such as the lasso tool - which I appreciate is definitely not allowed in basic editing?

Good question - you can select an individual color (i.e. Red) and adjust it in Hue/Saturation. however, it has to be done on the entire image, not using layers/ masks on a specific item in the image.

But it can be done on an adjustment layer if a mask is not applied? |
