OK so what does it mean?
As a foreigner I don't think I understand what the challenge means. |

Fooled me. I thought this was your photo...not that you obviously aren't capable of putting together something like this or better, but I was surprised when I ran across this link.

On my walk home from the store, I walked by an older gentleman with a t-shirt that read "NEVER QUIT" in big bold letters. The funny thing was, he was standing there smoking a cigarette. Why do I never have my camera at times like these? |

Since the trend has been loads of DNMC, why disappoint them? Do a demotivational poster, lol! |

If I could have got a shot of the guy smoking and wearing the NEVER QUIT! t-shirt then I would have entered it for sure. |

We can and are suppose to add text in this challenge, but is adding a line, like we see in the poster in this tread would be allowed in advance editing? |

If you make it part of the border you should be fine. Then again even if it's not part of any border you might still be able to get away with it. The DPL Album challenge which only allowed text had many entries that seem to add a lot more than just text and they weren't DQed. However, best to have the SCs look at it to be sure.

If I recall, Hotpasta's entry (see below) in the DPL challenge used a dingbat font to create a round shape used in his entry. That one was validated so anything you can produce from a font should be fine and that includes underscores, dashes etc. However, I'm not an SC just going by past precedent.

Yes you can one or two or however many lines of text you want. Or lines...

That's a good tip, but you are right, the best thing would be to send a ticket to SC.
Thanks Richard |

Ok, I am about to submit and upon reading the directions, it said "make your motivational phrase the title"
Well, when you do that and you see the exact same text on the poster AND the title of the image, it looks funky, but if we don't do it, then the DNMC police will vote low.
AUGHHH what's a girl to do? |

I think it is saying to use just the motivational word (phrase) like Failure or Encouragemnt not the entire text below that...I could be wrong and I could be misunderstanding what your are saying.

I understood it this way too (just the motivational word). Otherwise there are going to be some looooooong titles in this one.... |

Thanks guys... I hate long titles (off to change mine to one word and hoping the longer phrase part doesn't get me in trouble) |
