I know this has probably ask before but I'm going to ask it again.

Has anyone done a direct comparison between the sigma (the newer Macro version, not the old version) and the Tamron?

I know that the tamron is sharper than the old version of the sigma, but I was wondering how it compared with the new one,
I'm having trouble finding a detailed review so I thought that I'd ask here.

I have one sigma EX lens and I pretty happy with the quality, is the 18-50 built to the same standard?
