Looking for photography buddies in East Lancs.
I'm based near Burnley (Foulridge) and would love to learn more about photography by sharing ideas with others.
Please get in touch if interested.
Check out my profile page for more info.
Cheers

Bob, I am the other side of the Pennines, but once I have got my vaccinations up to date I might be up for a GTG. Incidentally, you may be able to help Coley out - he is looking for someone to take a photo of . This thread refers. |

If it coincided with one of my visits home (ex-pat but visit Liverpool every 4 - 6 weeks), then I'd be up for it.

Hah!
Yes, I saw Coley's thread.
My wife works for the NHS in Burnley. We'll keep our eyes skinned and be sure to capture it for you. When is it due to be launched?
Can you find out where the posters will be? That would make it much easier.
Hi salmiakki. I'm a fair trek from Liverpool. It's about 1 1/4 hrs drive. But if you are up for it. I'm flexible on dates and times.
Hi Sara. Yep. Get the vaccinations first. There is an outbreak of 'Eee-by-gum' at the moment. Signs and symptoms include;-
Wearing of a flat cap and clogs.
Sudden desire to eat tripe and black pudding and
Unintelligible speech.
Au reight?
:-)

It's about the same as coming from York! Hey, I drove 4 hours each way to one DPC GTG when I lived in Chicago - 1 1/4 is a piece of cake! Throw out some suggested dates and I'll see if I can plan accordingly. |

Bob, that would be so awesome ... thanks in advance for any shots you can forward.
I think they go up in a week or 2. You can't miss them ... they have this GREAT looking guy with a backward baseball cap on. :D
Thanks again!

Hi Coley.
Well I've just seen your advert, or should I say 3 of them, in the space of 500 yards. They are in Albert Road, Colne. Sadly I didn't have my camera, but I'll nip back later and get a few snaps for you. It looks very good.......but.......
I have to question what the hell my local council is doing spending my council tax on trying to influence people to eat more fruit & veg in this way. No disrespect to your work, but I can't imagine that anyone will see it and say 'oh go on then, put that Mars bar back and give me an apple.'
Just another example of the nanny state we are living in......
Phew! I feel better now. Think I'll have a banana to get my serotonin levels back up.
I report back soon.
Cheers

Hi Bob,
I live over in Leeds but if I could get a train to your choice of location then I'd be up for a Northern DPC GTG :o) If I'm having a bad day I might need someone to push my wheelchair but on the upside, they could hang their camera equipment on the back ;o) LOL
I'll keep my eye on this thread and see what you come up with :o)
Cheers,
Natalya |

Why not have the Northern GTG in London? It is central, and easy to get to from all parts of the country.
