I did a graduate project and made a webpage www.artpartnersprogram.com My professor called me a few days ago and said the site no longer existed. I investigated more to find the guy that hosted us no longer has a web presence either - his site is gone.

I suspect maybe he lost interest in hosting...?

So now what do I do? He took care of everything and told me how to register the art partner's domain name (so we own that) and after I designed it - we just uploaded and updated.

The URL is listed in textbooks and is linked from other colleges as well. It's important to me to get this running again for my former professor...but I am clueless.

Original hosting fee was $50 yearly then peeked at $80 ...over 5 years.

Basically what you'll need to do is select a host and set up an account. I use vervehosting.com - there are several threads of recommendations in the forums already if you're looking for others. Once you've got an account, they will give you two nameserver addresses. You will then sign in to wherever you registered your domain from and enter those two addresses which will hook up the hosting account with the domain. That can take a day or two sometimes but generally happens pretty quickly.

Edited to say: feel free to PM me if you want help!

WOW flash back!...yes...That's how I remember the original set-up. Now I know just what to do...thanks
your PM offer was really nice too, but I think I got it now. I was just so frustrated staring at hosting offers and not understanding any of it.
