....that Dell owns Alienware?
Alienware is just a souped up Dell?

Pretty sure dell bought them about 2yrs ago if I recall.

Here it is
Looks like a sweet deal for the Alienware owners. They get the hard cash and can keep developing their computers and get paid !

| Alienware was churning out souped up PCs for quite a few years prior to the whole Dell acquisition. There was a big upheavel from Alienware users once the news got out, but so far I think alienware is still hot as ever. |

And shortly after Dell bought Alienware, HP responded by buying VooDoo computers which were/are over priced and over rated...

That kinda sucks for me a bit. I get a corporate discount on Dell equipment. Alienware being a subsidiary doesn't qualify. Of course I'll need to double check that theory.
