I was lucky enough to visit Wales on a recent trip to the UK last week - Here are a couple of snaps from the trip - Any comments would be greatly received as I have been unable to add pics for a while!
Cheers and thanks for stopping by....
Jeff

Looks a little like South Wales to me - perhaps the Gower Peninsular... I spent a good many months in South Wales from the Gower along to St. Davids and up, and also on Holy Island off Angelsey, North Wales, doing geological mapping. Lovely places, nice people, good beer. Your photos remind me of the good times there. Wish I could pop over for a quick visit as well... but just came back from the Green Mountains in Vermont.

It was South Wales - Borth - Hope that's the right spelling?
Great wild wonderful place - I miss clouds living in LA!

Hey I went to Wales today!! North Wales, to Colwyn Bay and Llandudno it was great, weather was ok.
I will try to post some shots if you don't mind. It has been one of my favorite trips within the UK. |

Great 'snaps' - I take it you like the Nikon 12-24mm then? :) |

I seem to use that lens as my standard - Just wish they would bring out a nice prime DX wideangle instead of the zoom as I always use it at 12mm and it would be nice to have a razor sharp piece of glass. |

D3 body + AF Nikkor 14mm f/2.8D. Problem solved... *and* an extra 4mm :) |

Pity... Let's hope Nikon don't stop developing DX format lenses now. Especially at the wide end. But, that's for another thread.
Don't worry about it. You've got a great talent and certainly know how to use the gear you've already got. |
