Ok, so I'm giving up the Olympus E-300 for a Canon oriented kit for the reasons that the lenses are just cheaper, support more widespread and more choice for accessories.
I am considering one of the following packages:
Camera Body-Only:
- Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
- Canon EOS-20D
Wide Lens:
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
//dpchallenge.com/lens.php?LENS_ID=6
T Lens:
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM
//dpchallenge.com/lens.php?LENS_ID=2
My questions are, what body do you think I should go with? Are there any known incompabilities with the lenses & body's I listed? If you have any other suggestions, please do so :D Going to Costa Rica soon, and wouldn't mind gearing up for it :D
Big thanks in advance !
Cheers
Noel

20D without any question! But the best way to find out to handle the two bodies...IMO...the 20D is very well built and is a superior camera. I am sure you will enjoy it. Good luck
But maybe the 30D will be a good one or 40D?

with only those two lenses, you're missing our on the "normal" focal length. you've got nothing between 20 and 70.
If you've got the money, go for the 24-70 f2.8L or 24-105 f4 L.
If you can't spend a ton, I recommend the 17-85 f4-5.6 IS.
I got it packaged with the 20D, used, for $1000.
You might want to wait a bit and see how much the 30D, or any remaining 20Ds drop with the release of the 40D
ETA: Go with the 20/30D for sure! I upgraded to the 20 from the XT, and it makes a difference. Better build, and you have more control.
