I know people include it sometimes in the general description.
But I think it would be useful to have it included in the main Photograph Description area.
For example "1/400s f/4.0 at 98.0mm iso200"
The @98.0 should be an available tab to fill in .. |

Not all cameras express the focal length in "35mm equivalent" in the EXIF, and it would require a calculation of that model's "crop factor" to make the conversion. I'm not even sure all cameras store that info at all.

And if it isn't contained in the EXIF, then people will be saying they shot a macro of a helicopter blade in flight at 16mm. Just for bragging rights.

Some cameras don't show the ISO in the EXIF, at least not in some intuitively decipherable form, yet it still gets a spot in the Photograph Description. I think focal length would be nice to add to the Photo Description, and if you don't know what the focal length of the shot was, then don't put anything. As for me, my camera does record it, so it would be no big deal for me to obtain the data.

That's strange, I just shot this this afternoon.
I shoot a lot with old manual focus lenses, which don't show focal length in the exif, but I always try to include that info with the pic, as well as if I used a cir pol filter or G ND when I took the shot. It only takes a few extra keystrokes to do so.
