Not grounds for a 4. Post the shot after the challenge.

If you were judging a shot that is a) in focus, b) has good color balance and saturation, c) is obviously not a snapshot, d) meets the challenge without question, but e) is admittedly boring...is that grounds to score it a 4? Is artistic deficiency just as much a transgression as technical deficiency? |

Well, I can't get above a 7.00 so no chance to ribbon. Every time I post my score it goes down- So if I post no score will it go up? lol

Very little sway here too, and I am sooooo happy about that too, means a personal best for me if it stays around here. I just got a personal best in the free study so to be honest I'm a happy little cookie right now.

Something tells me that's still not high enough for a ribbon. I have a feeling there are more higher 7's lurking.. . but unbelievably it is my 2nd highest score ever, after my highest score being achieved with my rugged friend Lisa in the last challenge. . .so I will delightedly take a top 10 or whatever if that score holds. Last couple of days are brutal on this site.

Has there ever been a challenge where the top 5 were all over 7 ?
EDIT: Oh well...I see that at least one free study had tons of 7s.

In a wildlife challenge not too long ago, I scored a 7.+ and came in 11th place! sniffle sniffle :)

Besides my nude entry, this will by second highest viewed photo in a challenge. My number one is 598 views I think from the On the Beach challenge. I am not sure exactly why so many views, a bit strange, must be a good looking thumbnail. :P |
