I haven't been bold enough to get out in the freezing weather we've been having in Syracuse, so I took this one from a window in the building across the street. I work in the building in this photo.

100% Desaturated
Reduced highlights to tone down the overexposed sky.
NeatImage process to smooth out the snowflakes coming down.

Love it? Hate it? Don't care? Want a print?

reminds me of the buildings in the film Metropolis in the city.

Its almost impossible to get a straight on shot of this building without breaking some laws or ..... well, maybe, I might be able to sneek out onto the roof. To be honest, I did crack open the window to see if it would be possible...it is! Problem is getting back into the window when I'm done. Its about a 5' foot drop to the rooftop from the window. Would be a heck of a climb back in with ice and snow all over. Maybe in the spring. Hence, the tilt/angle of the shot.

Matt, Lets do lunch! PS...On a warmer day! You know,,,a day when it gets above 30,,,if that ever happens! LOL

Sounds like a plan to me. I'll take my best NiMo building shot in the next two weeks or so and post it.
