How can you allow it when it goes against this rule in Basic Editing:

The problem with allowing XYZ filter or action is that there are thousands of other actions for which the source code is not available. Many are available for free download and use. If the SC approves a particular filter or action, people are constantly going create or find more actions that potentially do illegal things like layers or selection as they run. It will become like the virus detection programs where DPC is always one step behind the guys like MAK who push the limits.

I was aware of the published rule that says "no filters" pretty clearly, so I was amazed that the LucisArts filter was allowed. But the SC are still deliberating on the issue, so I am trying to lobby a bit here.

But I always stick to the editing rules and when they said it was or could be illeagal I stopped using it, same as the 'in camera' overlay. I push a bit but not so much as to break editing rules..
