I did not finish the 50 days in the life challenge as I had to leave town for a week at the end. I would love to join this side challenge though, if you will have me.

Everyone I am thinking about making a new thread for the postings. This one is already getting large and with all our pictures it will slow down alot. What does everyone think?

You should definitely make a new thread when it starts and put a link to the new thread in this one. That's SOP. :)

Hi guys,

Although you're already a pretty big bunch, I'd like to join in. I love B&W but would need a little more practice to get really good at it. This sounds like an opportunity!! Can I jump in?

Now that I will have my new D80 (gift from my gf :)) that can shoot B&Ws directly I want to use it to its full potential :)

I usually never make it through these 30 day challenges, but count me in!!

This is great guys we are getting a lot of people, I love it. And FYI to anyone else that would like to join, you are MORE than welcome too. Just post your name and I will get it added to the list.

There is NEVER too many people for these types of challenges, the more the better IMO. Besides it gives you some REALLY good ideas for future pictures.

BTW Caroline69 CapeSail BeckyT vikas sea2c you have all been added to the list thanks for stopping by.

I also can't wait for this black and white side challenge, as I have recently been in three side challenges. One of them is the letters of the alphabet, which I am still hunting leters for.

I am so looking forward to doing this black and white side challenge.
I am going to make myself not use the "square crop" for this one, as most of my images are with the square crop. This will be a great challenge to me, as I seem to focus on the square crop the most.

I don't know why but most of my pictures now are 4x6 or 6x4 size. I just like how much better an image looks that way.

If you don't mind looking at 30 B&W portraits, count me in LOL I will do my best to keep up and finish this one... work got in the way of the last one (that I still plan to finish btw) hehe

Here are two of my recent black and white images, that I played with in photoshop, to make them looks like charcoal drawings. I hope you like them.
