I just booked tickets to go visit Banff/Jasper/Lake Louise at the end of September. Does anybody have recommendations for can't-miss photo ops? Hopefully some fall colors will be on display then. Also, any nice B&B or Inn recommendations that might be a little quieter than the major tourist places would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Also, check out the National Parks pages for Banff and Jasper National Parks. Lots of great places to see. You'll wish you had more time.

You can rent a trailer and stay in all of the National Park camp sites

Hi guy you should have good time. You have to use Gondola ,very nice view ,not cheap 30 per person. mount norquay road for a short drive. Johnston Canyon, wear good shoes nice hike to falls ,great photo shots. They are doing streets in banff right now so a little annoying.Lots of B+Bs.

must shots in Banff NP are Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and Johnston Falls. You are also close to Yoho and Kootenay NP's as well. Head up to Jasper (you'll go right by Columbia Ice Fields). You will be absolutely amazed at the natural beauty of the entire area. You can't really go wrong anywhere. Beware of crazy drivers stopping without notice because they saw an elk!

When I stayed in Banff, I stayed in a B&B called Thea's House. Very, very nice, but very expensive (it was a birthday/anniversary trip, so I splurged!).

Here are some from my trip there 2 years ago (in July)
