Well, I'm finally getting to use my new lens. Here's a couple of shots...



... and some nature ...



I'd love to hear your comments.

As far as editing goes, they are NOT straight out of camera. :) The portraits have had some dodge/burns, the bird has had lots of NR (shot at ISO 1600), and the lizard has been colour adjusted. They've all had slight crop adjustments, but are within 20% of full-frame, and they've all got a bit of USM.

I still think I'm getting sharper images from the kit-lens, but the bokeh is nice from my new lens. :)

Comments or critiques would be much appreciated!

Congrats...i have the 70-200 F4.0 L...so i could just imagine what the extra stops get ya ;-)

Awesome lens David...I have the Nikon version of this Sigma and it is a fantastic, fast, sharp lens. The 100-300 F4 is equally as good. I like the colours and contrast in your images
