This guy's work is brilliant! It is like living those moments with him and his father. I have started to believe that some guys are born super talented. What I am doing, and learning bit by bit, is a load of work because my brain isnt wired to quickly grasp such beautiful ideas.. or better yet: imagine them myself.
Thanks for sharing, Man_Called_Horse, a thousand thanks!

Double thanks for this one Mr Horse. I'd seen 'Days with my Father' but none of his other stuff - he's WAY cool! |

I just checked him out, and I really didn't like his stuff. Weird. Like his people playing video game port wasn't anybody playing a video game at all. It should have been "people making weird faces". Strange, but nothing innovative in my eyes. |

I only went through his essay on his father. I thought that was pretty intense.. but thats just IMO. In all fairness, I didnt cehck out any of his other stuff. But as long as part of his work poked me, I would say he is darn good:-)

I am going to say that his father stuff has a quality of a sons point of view of his father.
A POV that none but him self could relate in his images.
Finally, some conversation about a photographer!

This guy has some AMAZING stop motion images in his portfolio - the one of the bike rider crashing is amazing! |

actually, i related very easily to the father series. perhaps it's only child of older parents, rather than son/father...
very interesting work all around. muted colours, subtle humour. i like it.
