Is it allowed to clone out a slight shadow from flash photography in editing the final picture under the advanced editing rules. You would think I would know the answer to this question since I have been a member for 5 years and have entered 347 challenges but I don't.
Thanks for your help.

It depends.

Softening the shadow with dodge and burn would probably be fine but eliminating it completely could get you into trouble.

If you have a particular photo in question that you want to enter you're probably better off sending a ticket to the SC to request a ruling on it.

The answer is not black and white, yes or no. It depends on the image.

Thanks. I figured there wouldn't be an easy answer.
