I'm sure this has been discussed before but have been unable to find the thread.

I've been having a problem the last few days with a lot of photos either not showing (just a cross in one corner) or only showing half of the photo (or half of the page I am opening) - mainly here but occasionally on other sites. Also often a message "Cannot find server" which disappears when I refresh.

I was wondering if there is something set incorrectly on my computer and if so, how I would go about correcting it. If I don't do something I'm not going to come even close to voting on all the "Point of View" photos before the voting closes.

Hi Gina, its probably a popup blocker/ virus software or firewall you have runnng. I had the same problem and disabled the ad blocker in Norton and everything is ok now.
As for the voting, the text under each thumbnail is also a link to the picture so you can access from there,
Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
I don't have an ad blocker (lots of popups to get rid of), and the anti-virus and firewall have been the same for some time, so I'm not convinced that's the problem.
As for voting, I'm not having problems accessing the links, just getting them to open properly
Thanks,
Gina

Please, if anyone can offer any other ideas, I'm getting desperate. I've already done things like deleting temporary internet files and cookies to speed things up but half my links don't work the first time.

Have you tried viewing the sites you have trouble with in a different browser and/or cleaned your caches lately or checked your connection (modem, router, signal, cables, ISP), combed your browser preferences for relevant image-related settings?

As mentioned in this thread, people have had problems with Norton's Anti-Spam software.
