Learn how to efficiently navigate & color correct in Photoshop

Finally, a Photoshop workflow taught by a photographer, for photographers

Learn a step-by-step procedure to adjust and improve your images in a timely and efficient manner while preserving the integrity of the original, whether it be a scan or digital capture. This class will give you a solid understanding about how to evaluate your images and how and when to use various Photoshop tools. At the end of the 4 weeks you will have a new found confidence while working in Photoshop. This is not just a âtips and tricksâ seminar, but rather a comprehensive course that will amaze you with how much you didnât know about this powerful program! There are handouts for each session.

This 4-week course is taught by Maria Ferrari //www.mariaferrari.com, a commercial still life photographer in New York for over 20 years. She also teaches at schools and universities throughout NYC and holds workshops at various venues throughout the city. She has recently trained employees from major advertising agencies, design firms, museums, book publishers, pharmaceutical companies and corporate offices.

How are these calumet classes usually? I live near the Philly one and have been tempted to go at times.

Maybe you'll have to cheance going to one and report back to the rest of us. Or, you could sign up for another 16 years of DPC ... ;-)

Ha, I wont be going to that one, too much money.

They do have a ton of events coming up at the Philly Calumet, I might hit up the Nikonians one as well as the Photographing Children and the Nikon Creative Lighting one.

A lot of these are glorified sales pitches though, from what I hear, but hey, if I can get some training for free and I just have to listen to a sales pitch at the end, oh well.
