We have a bunch of those at work and they are flippin amazing. I'd love to buy one of my own sometime but I can't afford it. We don't use them for photo editing, but do use them for image aquisition tools. Although this is all, or mostly, software driven there still is some amount of manual image manipulation.

| So you haven't had any part in calibrating them then? |

None of the ones we have are calibrated, but the machines they run off of are calibrated to 1/10000th of an inch :)(not that that matters). I don't think you'd have any problems in doing that to one though. The huge advantage of those monitors is that they have TV/Video inputs on the back and can therefore double as an HDTV. It also has a very nice 1920x1200 resolution, very sharp, and very bright. I'd definitely reccommend one as I'm sure it has a lot of photo editing potential.

That's where you'd be wrong. I'm having a great deal of difficulty calibrating. I've found a few people posting in other places about the same trouble I'm having and I'm trying to determine if it's worth replacing the monitor or just returning it. |

Have you had any luck resolving your calibrating issues? Also what are you using to calibrate it? I'm thinking about getting one of these and a Spyder calibration kit, curious to know if you're still having problems.
Everything I've read about these says they have awesome color accuracy and the size/pivot ability is a huge plus but if they don't calibrate well that'd be a pretty big downside. I did read one review that said they'd calibrated it though, so maybe it's a sometimes problem? |
