Isn't it just great: Today two "Landscape" challenges start: "Rural" and "Urban" - and yesterday I came home from a two week trip through Tuscany, Italy and Provence, France. I've got like 1500 potential pictures for challenges like these...

Talk about bad timing :-(

Bummer!

I'm interested to see how many barn images are entered into the Rural challenge. Barns are great rural subjects but viewers may be inundated and thus possibly bored with them quickly.

I think you would feel well practiced after such a tour and, having been away, you should be able to see your home area with fresh eyes.

Besides, there's always the monthly free study for all those other shots. :-)

Never mind, the rural landscape challenge will be Iceland dominated anyway. ;)

I know how you feel! I am currently on a work trip in Germany and for some silly reason did not bring either of my cameras. AGH. There are some amazing potential urban shots. I am very annoyed with my own stupidity.

Is anyone waiting for this Heat Wave to subside? I cant go out in this soup. Its 95F here and humidity is at 90%. My sensor might start to sweat in this crappy weather. Im looking to lurk through the canyons of Manhattan, the air quality here is bad enough.
